SL Hotel - Santa Luzia Elvas

Looking for a wonderfully relaxing stay right by the Spanish border? Let me tell you about SL Hotel – Santa Luzia in Elvas. This charming four-star hotel sits in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage city and is conveniently located right on the Lisbon-Madrid motorway. It’s been welcoming guests since 1942, originally as Portugal's very first Pousada, and it truly offers a special blend of comfort and local character. After a thoughtful renovation in 2013, it keeps its unique architecture while providing a cosy atmosphere and really personal service.

The hotel strikes a perfect balance, giving you easy access to all the historic wonders of Elvas’ city centre, while also providing a peaceful retreat to unwind in after your explorations. It’s the ideal base for discovering the region’s rich history, delicious food, and stunning landscapes.
