Set in the Grand Sud, just outside Aix-en-Provence, our hotel occupies a handsomely restored Provençal mas with eighteen individually styled rooms, an outdoor pool, a garden of olive trees, cypress, and lavender, and a restaurant that takes its food seriously. It's the kind of place you check into for two nights and end up extending.

A long afternoon at Domaine & Cie tends to look something like this: a swim in the outdoor pool, lunch under the parasols, a book on the terrace, a glass of chilled local rosé as the cicadas start up, and a slow dinner at Gaodina afterwards. The garden and pool are open through the warmer months, typically May to September, and the terrace is where most evenings begin.

Gaodina — Provençal Cooking, Done Properly

Our restaurant Gaodina serves a Mediterranean-inspired Provençal menu built around regional produce: local olive oils, Camargue rice, lamb from the Alpilles, herbs from the garden, regional rosés and reds. The dining room opens onto the terrace in the warmer months.
