Hotel Overview

Nestled in the heart of Olympic Valley, The Village at Palisades Tahoe (formerly The Village at Squaw Valley) puts you steps away from legendary ski slopes and alpine adventures. This family-friendly basecamp sits a 2-minute stroll from Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram and the Olympic Museum, where the spirit of the 1960 Winter Games lives on. Alpine Meadows and Granlibakken ski areas lie less than 15 minutes’ drive away, while keen golfers can reach The Links at Everline in six minutes by car.

Unwind in modern chalet-style accommodation across 186 rooms, many featuring separate living areas and DVD players for cosy nights in. After carving up KT-22’s famed runs or hiking the Mountain Route Trail, thaw out in one of eight shared spa tubs – perfect for aprés-ski relaxation. Families appreciate the games room and ski valet service, while the complimentary shuttle whisks snowsport enthusiasts straight to the lifts.

The vibrant village plaza below your window hosts seven dining venues, from craft breweries to slope-view bistros. Five bars and two cafés mean you’re never far from a steaming cocoa or celebratory cocktail. Though note that rooms lack central air conditioning – portable units help manage summer temperatures.
