Galatahan Hotel

Welcome to Galatahan Hotel, a beautifully restored historic building nestled in the heart of Istanbul's vibrant old city. We're just a stone's throw away, approximately 250 metres, from the iconic Galata Tower, placing you right in the middle of the action. We've lovingly preserved the building's original character, ensuring the facade texture and internal load-bearing walls remain as they were, offering you a truly authentic experience.

Our hotel spans 8 floors, each around 200 square metres, and houses 42 thoughtfully designed, spacious rooms. You'll find our welcoming restaurant located conveniently near the lobby. For breathtaking panoramic views, head up to our terrace. From the 3rd floor upwards, you'll enjoy uninterrupted vistas of the Golden Horn on the front facade, thanks to the low-rise historic buildings surrounding us. From the 4th floor, the rear facade offers stunning views of the Galata Tower itself. Many of our 5th-floor rooms even boast balconies overlooking the magnificent Golden Horn.

Start your day with our delicious buffet breakfast, served daily between 07:30 and 10:30. We've invested in modern comforts, including heat recovery devices on each floor for fresh air circulation, and all indoor air conditioning units are installed. For your safety and peace of mind, we have comprehensive fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and all room ceilings are finished with gypsum boards. Each bathroom features stylish ceramic coatings and essential accessories, and you can expect a strong internet connection throughout the hotel and in your room.

We're confident you'll love your stay with us at Galatahan Hotel. Discover Istanbul from a prime location steeped in history and modern comfort. Book your unforgettable experience today!
