About the hotel

Welcome to Hesta Hakone, a charming guesthouse nestled in the picturesque town of Motohakone, Hakone. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to some of Hakone's most beloved attractions, you've found your perfect spot.

Just a short drive from your doorstep, you'll discover the stunning Lake Ashi, famous for its serene beauty and the iconic red torii gate that appears to float on the water. Venture a little further, and you can explore the volcanic hot springs and dramatic landscapes of Ōwakudani, often referred to as the 'Great Boiling Valley'.

Hesta Hakone offers a convenient base for exploring the wider Hakone region. It's approximately a 10-minute drive to both Lake Ashi and Ōwakudani. For those seeking family fun, the popular Hakone Kowakien Yunessun hot spring theme park is only about 6.9 km (4.3 mi) away. If retail therapy is on your agenda, the expansive Gotemba Premium Outlets are located 18.9 km (11.7 mi) from the guesthouse.
