About Home Tucked into a peaceful corner of Ranikhet, SaffronStays Luna Celeste is a thoughtfully designed retreat that reimagines mountain living through its unique pod-style layout. The property features three independent pods, each offering its own private space while still feeling connected through the natural landscape. This makes it ideal for groups who... Backstory Luna Celeste began as an idea rooted in observation rather than construction. The creators spent time studying the surrounding mountains, noticing how peaks rise independently yet belong to a larger landscape. Instead of building a single structure, they chose to reflect this natural rhythm through architecture. The property was imagined as a small mountain narrative made up of three elements: two peaks and a solitary mountain hut. This idea took shape as three independent pods, each positioned to feel private while still remaining visually connected to the landscape and to one another. Design inspiration was drawn from the moon and celestial forms. The all-white palette, clean lines, and sculptural lighting were chosen to mirror the calm, muted glow of moonlight on snow. Materials and forms were kept minimal so that the architecture would complement, rather than compete with, the surrounding environment. Every detail at Luna Celeste was created with intention. From bespoke furniture and floating beds to curated outdoor spaces, the home was designed to offer quiet luxury, privacy, and a sense of stillness. The result is a retreat that feels thoughtfully composed, where design, nature, and experience come together naturally
