Aquavisionaire

Nestled in the picturesque Pefki area of Lindos, Aquavisionaire offers a truly unique escape on the eastern coast of Rhodes. Perched just 12 metres above sea level, this residence boasts direct access to the sea at its western edge, with the natural slopes of the landscape beautifully defining its boundaries. The villa's design cleverly embraces its surroundings, with the architecture and landscape development considered as equally vital to create a harmonious experience. Step inside and discover a thoughtful layout where the kitchen, dining, and living areas seamlessly flow into a sheltered backyard, perfect for enjoying time outdoors away from the elements. The master bedroom is a sanctuary, featuring a distinctive half-round bathroom with a stone dome, where light dances through small, coloured openings. Enjoy natural cross-ventilation and abundant natural light throughout the day, creating a refreshing and airy atmosphere. Aquavisionaire's distinctive character is evident in its materiality. The rough, external surfaces, inspired by traditional local farmhouses, are crafted from uncoated local stone (atsakopetra), lava, and lime. Inside, aged limewash coats the surfaces, while floors are laid with local shale stone. The bathrooms are adorned with mosaic-tiled aged white marble, and the outdoor courtyard is finished with smooth pebbles. The rooftop features exposed trusses and wooden planks, and the interior lighting has been designed to evoke the gentle glow of candlelight.
