Montarina

Welcome to Montarina, a unique hotel and hostel nestled within a charming historic villa built around 1860. We're perfectly situated just a stone's throw, about 656 feet, from the Lugano train station, making us an incredibly convenient base for exploring the beautiful canton of Ticino.

Our guests can relax and unwind in our lovely park, complete with a refreshing swimming pool – a true oasis in the heart of Lugano. We also offer free WiFi throughout the property and a limited number of free parking spaces, so be sure to enquire about these when booking.

You'll find a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs. Choose from comfortable rooms featuring an en-suite bathroom and cable TV, or opt for rooms with shared facilities if you're travelling on a tighter budget. We also have dormitory options available, perfect for solo travellers or groups.

From April to October, you can make use of our shared kitchenette and common area. Need to freshen up your travel clothes? We have a coin-operated washing machine and dryer on-site, as well as handy vending machines for drinks and snacks.

We often find our rates are more competitive than major booking sites like Booking.com, Expedia, and LateRooms, and we pride ourselves on our Best Price Match guarantee – so you can book with confidence! Ready for a delightful stay in Lugano? Book your room at Montarina today!
