Steinbock

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Grindelwald, Switzerland, the Steinbock hotel offers a charming and comfortable base for your alpine adventures. You'll find us situated right on the main village road, making it incredibly easy to explore everything Grindelwald has to offer. We're also conveniently located just a short stroll from the first stage gondola, putting the magnificent Eiger and its surrounding trails within easy reach.

Step into a true Swiss chalet experience with our delightful building, featuring a quaint carved wood facade that's quintessentially alpine. Inside, our rooms are a pleasant surprise, larger than you might expect and furnished with high-quality pieces that blend modern comfort with rustic charm. You'll find both the rooms and the well-maintained bathrooms to be in very good condition, offering a cosy retreat after a day of exploration.

Food lovers will be delighted by our on-site Italian restaurant, a local favourite that also welcomes our guests. In fine weather, you can soak up the breathtaking views of the Eiger from our restaurant's terrace – a truly unforgettable dining experience. We pride ourselves on offering great value, often with rates lower than major booking sites like Booking.com and Expedia. Discover the magic of Grindelwald with a stay at the Steinbock!
