Situated on the Kauri Coast on the northernmost boundary of the Waipoua Forest, Waipoua Lodge offers accommodation in a historic setting. Built from kauri timber 120 years ago, the sensitively restored lodge is owned and hosted by New Zealanders and features many mementoes from the era when kauri milling was at its pinnacle.
